M.A. International Economics. Henriette Neumann is a PhD candidate at the Université Paris 13, France and the Macroeconomic Policy Institute (IMK) of the Hans Boeckler Foundation, Düsseldorf and investigates the drivers of current account imbalances. From 2009 to 2015 she studied at the Berlin School of Economics and Law ‘Economics’ in the Bachelor’s and ‘International Economics’ in the Master’s program. During her studies she worked as a student assistant and tutor. Moreover, she completed internships at the IMK, the economic policy department of the united services trade union (ver.di, federal executive board), Berlin and the Gesellschaft für Nachhaltigkeit, Berlin. Her research interests are foreigntrade and external imbalances, development economics as well as sustainable economics.
