Henriette Neumann heads the Division European and International Economic Policy of the German Con-federation of Trade Unions (DGB). There she supervises and coordinates topics such as the reform of the European Economic and Monetary Union, European Governance and economic policies in Germany. Prior to this, Ms. Neumann conducted research on the causes and consequences of current account im-balances in the EU at the IPE Berlin and the Macroeconomic Policy Institute (IMK) of the Hans Boeckler Foundation.
Ms. Neumann studied Economics with a focus on European economic policy and holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from the Berlin School of Economics and Law, where she also worked as a student assistant and tutor.
