Juan Manuel Campana

Juan Manuel Campana is a junior researcher in the newly created DFG-funded Competence Centre ‘Challenges and Resilience of Global Supply and Value Chains’. In particular, he will contribute to the research in the ‘Thematic Competence Cluster B: The relationship of value chain reconfiguration with interdependent growth regimes and effects on economic and social resilience’. He is also working on his PhD dissertation at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (France), where he examines the long-term trajectories of national growth models in advanced and emerging economies in the face of external and domestic crises and shocks during the 21st century.

He holds a Master's Degree in Economic Analysis and Policy jointly awarded by Sorbonne University, Université Paris Cité and the University of Technology of Compiègne (France), and a MA in International Economics from the Berlin School of Economics and Law (Germany). He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina).
