Judith Waltl

Personal Description

Judith Waltl works as a research assistant in the German Bundestag, focusing on international financial and economic policy and relations. As a PhD student at Freie Universität Berlin, her research continues to focus on feminist economics, particularly financial literacy, international financial market policy, and its institutional frameworks. She continues to teach the Master's course "Feminist Economics" at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.

She holds a Master's degree in Economic Analysis and Policy, jointly awarded by Sorbonne University, Université Paris Cité, and the University of Technology of Compiègne (France), as well as an MA in International Economics from the Berlin School of Economics and Law (Germany). Her Master's thesis, entitled "Labour Market Barriers for the Trans and Nonbinary Community," was awarded the POLITEIA Medal for Women's and Gender Studies in 2023. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna).
