Valeria Jiménez
Dr. Valeria Jiménez is Assistant Professor of Economics at Trinity College, Hartford. She holds a PhD in Economic Sciences from the Université Sorbonne Paris Nord, two master’s degrees (MA International Economics from the Berlin School of Economics & Law; MA Economic Analysis and Policy from the Université Sorbonne Paris Nord). She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Costa Rica.
Her research interests focus on macroeconomics, political economy, income distribution, industrial policy and ecological macroeconomics.
